Detroit to Ottawa!

Hey Everyone!

Sean Milan here, reporting in! Well, once again Team 1 is finished another diocese! We were in the London Diocese this past week, with many Encounter Days; the majority of them focusing on the Sacrament of Confirmation.

We received a lot of great feedback from teachers, custodians, host parents, diocese contact people and, most importantly, the students we ministered to! Our team also got to stay together for the first time! It was bundles of FUN!

The host family we were staying with took us out to the water front in Windsor. We got to see Detroit from across the river; it was pretty awesome, and exciting, for all of us. It was a first for Rachel (from Ireland) and Richard (from Australia) seeing the U.S.A.

On a little damper note, several of our team members fell ill this past week, but that didn't stop our team, no sir-ree! The rest of our team took on the challenge - yes our team was short several members, but we adapted and continued on! But we are all feeling better now. We are now starting our next diocese, Ottawa! It's fun to be back, but weird at the same time. It feels like we just left; well, I guess we did. Last but not least, a quick shout out to all of our family and friends back home, we miss and love you all.

Stay tuned, next week, when we will be in Edmundston, NB!

God Speed,

Sean Milan
Team 1
