Livin' it Up in Vancouver!

Hey Everyone!

Spring has definitely sprung in Vancouver! Everything is as green as ever and the Japanese cherry blossom trees are in full bloom! They are gorgeous.
Last Tuesday our team had the privileged of having dinner with the Archbishop of Vancouver, His Excellency Michael Miller, as well as all the other youth orientated staff from the archdiocesan center. Meeting the Archbishop was awesome, he was quite eager to meet us and get to know us. He was also very interested in hearing about the work we had been going is his diocese, and the response we got from the youth at the retreats. It made him and us feel more connected. We felt so welcomed by his Excellency and everyone else at the office, we had a blast!

A bunch of us girls stayed with a Korean family recently. They were so cute and super awesome, they just moved to Canada two years ago. The Mom didn't speak too much English (well, so she said, but I thought she could speak English really well...), so after dinner we her and the kids teaching us different phrases in Korean! It was so epic!

We had our last supervisor visit of the year this week as well! It made us realize we only have 6 weeks left on the road, so we might as well make the best of them!

May God bless you muchly!
