Well hello, Prince Edward Island!!

Hello again! There's been lots of exciting things happening in Halifax! Some of the highlights have been having lobster for the first time since being in the Maritimes! The host home Katie, Erin, and myself stayed at a few weeks ago cooked us lobster and I have to say it was fantastic! Erin was probably the most excited out of all of us!

One of the more exciting adventures our team went us was our trip to Prince Edward Island, where we got to stay with Liane's family! It was so much fun getting to meet her family and to experience P.E.I. with them! We went to Cavendish and toured the Anne of Green Gables house, and went to the beach, which was freezing by the way, but Brandon got his handful of red sand, and we went sledding as well!

An event that I personally experienced was CCO Halifax's first Nightfever, and this was also the first time Nightfever had ever been done in North America. It was 3 hours of Adoration, but it was open to everyone, especially people passing the church. They were invited into the church to lay a candle at the front. At the end of the night, the sight of all the dirt and salt from people's boots was left at the steps of the sanctuary, and it was like people had come to Christ, and had laid their burdens at his feet. It was a really beautiful night!

On another note, the parish has been getting ready for the Massive Worship team to arrive, and we're all very excited for them to get here! We can't wait to see all the things they will bring to Saint Benedict!

Until next time, our team prays for each of you and we ask God's blessing upon you!
